The last 24 hours have been crazy, wonderful, exciting, and scary! First, I had to go to Saskatoon for an ultrasounds appointment on Friday morning. I had a lump under my arm and went to get it checked. Thankfully, she found nothing abmornal! Praise the Lord! I was so nervous, with all of the people we know and stories we hear of people who are sick.
Because of my early Friday morning appointment, I travelled home Thursday evening and my mom and I went to the Emerson Drive concert (a total coincedence that she happened to get free tickets and I happened to be going home!). It was a lot of fun. The lead singer of the band does not play an instrument, but gets so into the music that it seems he doesnt know what to do with himself. Riley, if you are reading this, remind me to give you a demonstration of his dancing. I know you would have enjoyed it!!
And finally, my best friend Karen had her baby on Wednesday!!! She didnt acually get a hold of me until after the concert Thursday night, but the timing worked out so wonderfully that I got to visit her in the hospital on Friday after my appointment. ITS A BOY!!!! And he is absolutely adorable. Welcome to the world, Tyson Liam!! I am absolutely, utterly, happy for you Ken and Karen!! Now I know why I had that little voice in my head telling me to charge my camera batteries all week. Next time I will listen!!
