It's been a while...

...since I posted last! Time is just flying around here, as I am sure it is for many of you, too!

Only about 7 weeks to go until baby is due to arrive. We are still getting things ready but they are staring to come together a bit more now. We finally got all the "stuff" moved out of the baby's room, and last night we setup a shelf and put up some wall stickies (since we cant paint). So it is starting to look more like a baby room and not an office/junk room. I find myself peeking in there every time I walk by it - just to look at it all. There is no crib, but we did borrow a bassinet from some good friends (thanks Katrina!), and no change table (supposed to be here today), but we do have a stroller! I am trying to get Ashton to install the carseat but he wants to wait...as long as it isnt too long...

In other exciting news, we have gotten pre-approved for a mortgage and are starting to house shop!! We are going to see one house tonight (a private sale) and then 4 more tomorrow with an agent. There really isn't very much on the market here right now so if we see something we like we will have to jump on it really quick or have some serious patience to wait for something else to become available. The agent says the market has dropped 40% in the last 6 months (with the number of houses available). Apparently lots of people are coming back from Alberta and snapping up all the houses.
